Call utilities, arrange disconnection at rental, and connections at new house. Arrange solar installation. Meet concreter to inspect & pay for driveway/alfresco.
Drink a bottle of wine.
Drink a bottle of scotch.
Pack all remaining items (baby BN's toys etc). Dismantle furniture. Handover.
Meet delivery of new Master bed suite at new house. Dee & Dad arriving around 4pm - head back to house & install blinds/curtains & assemble new bed suite. Feed baby BN & parents at rental. Dismantle baby BN's cot.
Sister & partner arriving some time in the morning with a trailer - load trailer & take rubbish to tip. DH home from interstate, will collect all motorbike gear & take bike to new house. Pack 3x cats into cages. Take a break. Attempt to pack 3x cats into cages again. Meet lounge suite & dining table delivery at new house. Meet removalists at new house. Set up cot & beds. Break for dinner. Put baby BN to bed. Consume any remaining alcohol.
Back to new house, set up Christmas tree then hide in the corner & rock back and forth wondering what just happened. I read through your "plan" by the way and the only conclusion I could come to is that you're totally insane - I'm sure it's been mentioned before but I thought I'd remind you again. Looking forward to spying on your house finally - you can count on another esky full of beverage-type goodies and a good old fashioned chin-wag as mentioned by the boss when you get settled in. p.s. I hope your cats are friendly because I haven't been able to give a kitty a scratch behind the ears for a while (I love cats but the boss doesn't like them) - I'll probably just win em over anyway, but it'll be easier if they're not all skittish around strangers. Oh there are so many places I could take the above comment. Squeak is likely to headbutt you into submission, or lick your nose until you pat him (or spank him. Seriously). My two girls can be a little apprehensive, but usually warm quite quickly unless ankle-biters are involved. Re: bubblynutter's SFive.2 - 5 days to handover 737Dec 02, 2012 10:13 am Thanks for asking. Eye seems to have recovered well overnight. Still slightly blurred vision (so no driving today), but no more irritation & weeping eyes! Spoke to the pharmacist on the way home and he said baby BN scratched the cornea, breaking the outer membrane. Gave me a saline lubricant & said to watch for infection.
