Hi Luke,
Just wondered how your getting on with Rawdon Hill and the planning app?
I've been handed over to customer relations now and have been allocated Sarra.
I wonder if they have numerous staff members or if you will be allocated to Sarra too?
They have now applied for the building permit.
I have my final appt on Wednesday to sign off on the master plans and contract variation.
They are guessing a site start early next month.
Any ideas how many days they are allocating for your build?

I went down to the estate yesterday and noticed that we have a front tap!!!
Very exciting and hopefully a sign that things will get started soon.

I spoke to the Frankston City Council last week regarding the reserve around the estate. The reserve is still owned by the developer. In the future it is to be protected as a Conservation Reserve and either handed to Council for management or to the Crown (Department of Sustainability and Environment). Council Officers are liaising with both the owner and DSE about this and future management. Once it has been handed to the council or the DSE, a management plan will be put in place.

Street trees are also being planted early next year. They don't know what species of tree yet, but happy for us to provide our feedback. Personally, I think that a native similar to what is in the reserve would be best.

I noticed that they have cut out a large section of the reserve on the eastern side of the estate. looking at the size, It looks like it will be a road running Parallel to Lyppards Road.

Does anyone know if this a road or what it may be?

I think the cleared area parallel to Lyppards road is for the Crib Point - Dandenong Gas Line. I'm guessing they have recently done some works to it.

We had our site cut last Friday. Very excited.

Its exciting to see it get started!
The entire estate is going up so quickly.
Looks like our frame is nearly finished and bricks are starting.
Does anyone know of changes with the conditions for fencing? Is it still as was listed in the land contract? Eg: same as what they put at the front of the estate?

Hi Tamara,

We constructed our fences as per the covenants in the contract. The only difference between our fences and the front fences is the the posts, which are a bit thinner.

No Idea. We were thinking the same thing. It does seem a little strange that none of them have started.

The rest of the estate is looking good and I see that a number of you have some very nice houses going up.

Hi all,
Have purchased one of the acreage lots behind your blocks and titles have just been confirmed. Wondering how long it took everyone, roughly, to go through council? Did it have to go through the CFA for the bushfire management?
