Developer approval obtained, engineering complete, getting quotes Re: Thinking of of building with M3tricon? Look elsewhere!!!! 13Aug 08, 2008 8:14 am After 4 years - we're in! Re: Thinking of of building with M3tricon? Look elsewhere!!!! 15Aug 08, 2008 9:47 am Peter,
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! The ensuite pics are fantastic!!! And I have good news for you! What you want to do in the ensuite is achievable as that is what I am doing. The shower remains in it's original position and the big window between the shower and vanity remains and I put a shaving cabinet in place of the little window in the centre of the vanity. Sort of the best of both ensuite types in my opinion!!!! The ensuite was extended slightly to accommodate the extra toilet and seperate vanity and the ends of the spa hob reduced by about two centimetres to accommodate turning the shower. They extended the laundry out under the eaves (like the extended ensuite) to accommodate the new powder room and still give us a reasonable laundry. Also we wanted to keep an external sliding door on the laundry. I'll double check the dimensions, but where we lost space to accommodate all this was in the leisure room. The width went from 3320mm to 3200. So only twelve centimetres, hardly noticeable in that room. Peter I have a new computer and a scanner very exciting for a computer nob like myself!!! When I figure it out I'll put my plans up and you can compare mine with Anne's to see how we incorporated a powder room differently. But if they say the ensuite how you want it is not possible let me know. If they can do it here, they should be able to do it there. Jo Also Peter, notice how the cutout at the spa extends right down to the hob? If you position your TV on the opposite wall in the bedroom you'll be able to sit in the spa and watch TV!!! This is why you need a kid lock on the bedroom door!! I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Thinking of of building with M3tricon? I'll PM you the addy. We ar e meeting with the SC on Monday to go through everything so it would be great to show her that. Watch TV while in the SPA? I can think of other activities to do!! cheers Peter Re: Thinking of of building with M3tricon? Look elsewhere!!!! 20Aug 08, 2008 10:29 am Rachelle Those pics are gorgeous!! Peter did you have to pay anything to switch houses? Nope as we had not paid the PC deposit and were heading to PC2 anyway as a lot of the variations had not made it on to the PC1 document. isn't a garage level with the rest of the house a given? pretty sure they 'came around' long time ago. if you have a flat block, the garage is usually level with the rest… 1 17528 No the fireplace doesn’t work. It’s been enclosed. I’m not sure what was removed, as it was done quite some time ago - well before what I can see with photos online… 2 11589 Interested in getting either the Polytec Boston Oak or Palace Peak for kitchen cabinets. Looking at the Boston Oak ones, it appears that the colour varies significantly… 0 9181 |
