Especially with the papery, easy rip stickers you get. Just let the turps soak in and then it will scratch off easier with your fingernails or a razor blade. Then you use some paper towel with a bit of turps dabbed on it to remover the adhesive gunk from the surface you are cleaning. Works on glass and mirrors a treat. Lay on to sticky residue and allow to soak for 5-10 minutes. Remove paper towel and scrape residue with anything handy. I use that one all the time. Works a treat. Even better - everyone has white vinegar, no extra expenditure required.
