The laundry hamper is just a white square laminate panel thingy, will take a photo next time i'm there yeah, that's what I thought. But DH had specified hideaway bin (not Hettich, got confused) and Jack said he didn't know where to get those from and his were different. Would have been easier just to get it through Jack. He is getting our laundry bin (I think), so was curious how it looked. Can't wait to see progress pics of your place! I remember someone on H1 had one of these with a laundry bag inside. So that's what we will be getting too. Just need to source a shapeable laundry bag, preferably without any cord closing the top (you know, just open so clothes can just be chucked in). If your mums place has a view of the big green area at abbotsford cove then keep your eyes open, we will no doubt walk over there tomorrow with DS on his trike - so I'll stand waving at all the units and townhouses!! Actually, no need for me to wave, you'll spot me a mile away - I'll be the one holding my sore n!pples. I haven't been through there for over a year, geez how its changed. I saw your beautiful home, you have the matrix board on part of the second floor, and some rainwater tanks unistalled on the side right ?? Looks fantastastic.. looks like I am stalking I have noticed most driveways seem to be plain concrete , so undecided. Do you have a handover date as yet ? Will keep on eye out for you but Will be at the hospital most of day Not sure wether to laugh or cry about your nipples THE RISE gogo- went for another one of my drives yesterday looking at driveways again and ended up driving through your estate. Haha the rise, yes A+ on the stalking The water tanks are incorrect they are meant to be slim colourbond, going down the other side. We are making a decision on driveway today, we have a restriction on our driveway, no plain concrete, must be paved, stenciled, pebble etc. We have had a quite a few quotes, deciding on pebblecrete with tiled border or now polished concrete ( not slippery at all apparently due to the grind they do ) more money Do you have a handover date as yet ? Re: Gogo's build- bamboo floor in progress, looove it! 3113Jul 15, 2012 9:06 am gogo - did you have Martyn come out for the driveway ?? he did our quote last week , nice little sum of money there. Also saw on the other side of the main road from you another drive by the Sydney Pebble Company , his looked good as well. but I think pricewise they are similar. So confused !!! Ps Im not a stalker just trying to get little muchkin to sleep I am hoping for 2-3 weeks as well, but also no handover date as yet as SS on leave till next week ... Arrgghh Re: Gogo's build- bamboo floor in progress, looove it! 3114Jul 15, 2012 9:26 am Yes we had martyn 20k Sydney pebble company is very similar cost wise, but it looks so pretty especially with the tile border, just trying to justify the cost at the moment Polished concrete will come in about 14-15k stamped or Coloured 8-10k Re: Gogo's build- bamboo floor in progress, looove it! 3115Jul 15, 2012 9:32 am Can i ask you a question re polished concrete - who did you find ?? ( thinking we must want similar looking ). I spoke with 3 or 4 people, even spoke boral last week and the by what i was told it looked like it would come above Martyns ?? with the hones/polished I was told - about $120pm2 to grind back, 65 per pm2 for the concrete and at least 45 for the stones to be added into the concrete. . Thanks and sorry for 101 questions on a sunday morning ... Re: Gogo's build- bamboo floor in progress, looove it! 3116Jul 15, 2012 9:52 am We got two quotes for grinding both recommended by different people, one at $40sqm the other $50sqm cash! It was recommended to grind Coloured concrete at $70-$80 sqm ( rather than plain concrete to give a darker look) then just buy bags of pebbles that will be added in after the driveway is poured, both grinders recommended this but they did recommend different quantities dependent on finish required, however they both also said extra pebbles or stones in mix is not required if you don't want variations in colour Re: Gogo's build- bamboo floor in progress, looove it! 3117Jul 15, 2012 2:55 pm THE RISE Can i ask you a question re polished concrete - who did you find ??
