We have just started the process of building a Sandarah and I was wondering what Facade you had on your house. Also what tiles did you use for your kitchen, they look fantastic. We are putting a window in the kitchen and so we can't do glass spashback, so I am trying to work out what else would look good. Tiles for splashback are through National Tiles and the reference I have is NT11-212GM Light Travertine Pol Sticks 15x48. They are a finger mosaic. Re: JLD's Cayman by PD - Render pics. PCI Monday!! 230Jul 16, 2012 9:03 pm PCI done today and really pleased with how the house is looking. Only bits and pieces to be fixed up but nothing major which is a great position to be in heading into handover. Lists are done and now just counting down til the day. No photos as the handover took 2.5hours and wasn't going to keep our SS there any longer. He's been really great throughout our build and is fixing something that they don't technically have to fix. He brought it to our attention and knows it would be awful if left so very happy. Can't wait to see the house with appliances in the kitchen and the curtains and blinds done. Getting excited now. Re: JLD's Cayman by PD - PCI Done! 11 sleeps til handover 232Jul 16, 2012 9:44 pm Thanks Gogo, yours is looking great too! I always pop in to visit your thread but the convo goes too fast for me Will definitely put some photos up, hate it when you get to the end of a thread an don't get to see the finished product! JLD's Cayman by PD - PCI Done! 11 sleeps til handover 233Jul 16, 2012 9:58 pm Sounds like it all went well. That's awesome. Yes, would love to see the finished product please! Popped back in to see how you are going, looks fabulous. All good over here, moving on with life. Was like getting half my life back not having to stress over this stuff! Cheers, Pip. Re: JLD's Cayman by PD - PCI Done! 11 sleeps til handover 236Jul 23, 2012 9:15 pm Hey Pip! Glad to see you pop back in, was stalking your blog the other day to see if you'd updated. Glad to here that all is well. I must say I'm looking forward to not having to think about it as much as I have over the last 12 months. Pretty lucky though that it's only been that long Re: JLD's Cayman by PD - PCI Done! 11 sleeps til handover 238Jul 24, 2012 10:15 pm Thanks kelbelle Getting very excited now. Been meeting with landscapers and hopefully will get some quotes in and get that ball rolling next week. The amount of appointments and deliveries scheduled over the next couple of weeks is insane. Have I mentioned that I haven't started packing yet.....hmmmmm Got to have a look inside today and all seems to be up to speed and ready for handover on Friday. The tiler is coming back tomorrow to seal all of our tiles for us and then only thing left really is handles on kitchen and bathrooms. They might not actually make it in time for Friday so could be an interesting conversation. Still really impressed with our SS, he's been fabulous. Dippy phone call from my BC today...."Hi JLD, just ringing to see how PCI went" "Ummmm good thanks" "so did you have any minor defects?" "Ummmmmm didn't you see the list from SS" "No" "Well there is a list that is being worked through" "Oh as long as you're happy and ready to settle Friday?" Weirdest call ever. Surely you'd ring SS first and see if there are any problems etc before sounding like a dimwit with the client. 3 sleeps to go! JLD's Cayman by PD - PCI Done! Handover Friday! 239Jul 25, 2012 1:59 pm So exciting! Can't wait to see more pics! And LOL at your BC!! Re: JLD's Cayman by PD - PCI Done!
