All is fine when the door is shut/closing I'm interested to find out what the problem and fix is. The frame you have installed is indeed adequate for the door installed. It's a simple fix. If the hinges are binding or the weight of the door is causing the frame to unclip, the clip in door stop can be removed, and the glass pockets in the 2 frame sections screwed together (concealed under the clip in door stop) and the problem won't happen again. The reason it only happens when the door is open wide is the weight is pushing the 2 clipped sections apart, and when closed it naturally transfers the weight to push the sections back together.
