The sole reason is that the amount of time I save more than justifies the cost of the int designer. Mind you I didnt agree with all her suggestions and I was firm when i said no to what i disagreed with. A successful designer will work out what you want and make it palatable. You should be very creative and full of ideas but you should also be able to sell your ideas to people. I have used the services of a decorator and if my budget allows it I would do it again and probably try to contact the same guy.
