Dog urine killing my Kings Pride!

Hi, this is my grass.. It looks like this in the spots they pee on. It takes forever to grow back.

Any suggestions on how to fix it besides adjusting their diet which I won't do. The dogs eat a high protein diet of raw meet and high quality dog biscuits.

I've read that the food is broken down and excreted as nitrogen which is what kills it...

I'm sick of patchy lawn. I've tried the pee rocks but that hasn't worked. Wetting the areas down, that hasn't worked either. Not sure what else to try.

I've heard that applying gypsum can help here, worth asking at a nursery or garden centre for the right proportions. But once our lawn was going strong it seemed more resistant, I think the type of fertilizer you use could make a difference too as you don't want to add something that will add more and more nitrogen...

Diluting it when the dog first pees on it works, the problem is who has that much time to sit there watching their dog all day.
Not much you can do about it.

here's hoping all the rain we are getting helps with diluting all the wee's for now!
