And I may or may not have made a trip to Harris Scarfe on Wednesday and lay by'd a heap of pinch pleat curtains for our new house... Just have to sort out lace, and coverings for the tall skinny windows (plantation shutters are unfortunately out of the budget!), and window furnishings are sorted! Signed the land contract yesterday, and it's now in the conveyancer's hands. Builder has what they need, so final plans & contracts will be ready first/second week of June. Cue the tedious wait! Settlement is scheduled for 23 July, but will be earlier if the bank gets the funds earlier. Now that there isn't much house stuff to do for a little while, I can focus on the gorgeous smiles, giggles and coos that my son is giving me! ...After I put the washing on, because he power-chucked all through his capsule.
