If I can't afford plantation shutters, NICE curtains are my second choice. I have 2 large sliding door/windows in the living room and one large sliding door/window in the master bedroom I'd want curtained. I HATE the curtains with the big wooden rods and huge eye hole things in the tops of the curtains with the rings in the middle that thread onto the rod. HATE THEM. I'm sorry, but they look so cheap to me, and I know they're not! I like the curtains that have the big fabric box type thing all along the top of the window and that are very heavy and thick and hang down well, and are lined and backed properly, and in a nice neutral light colour, and with little hook things on either side on the walls so you can get some of those lovely tassle things to pull the curtains back on each side. How much would they be, I wonder. lol How the hell did I become a senior member!? I know nothing! Re: Curtain cost estimate 6Aug 26, 2008 10:46 am Yes! Thank you! Lol. How the hell did I become a senior member!? I know nothing! Re: Curtain cost estimate 7Oct 19, 2011 2:13 am For what you are after, custom made, I normally guestimate anything from $800 to $1500 per window - about 2.3m wide by 2.13m high.
