Browse Forums Building A New House Re: EdenBrook Pakenham 58May 14, 2012 12:49 pm hi effeness, In my contract, they specified a allowance of 4k upfront for bushfire so at least its not a shock for me. I knew beforehand about it. What did your site costs come to? wateman, you are really lucky... saved 4 grand since you started early. Multinet package from Argus. a. lead in cables and 32mm conduit from meter box to approved multinet enclosure in garage b. rj45 hub in enclosure c. 1 double gpo near enclosure d. 2 phone points e. 4 data points total cost 1830 one more question, how many tv points have you got installed and where is the main connection terminated? in the enclosure or they have left the cable in the roof? EdenBrook Pakenham 59May 14, 2012 12:56 pm We have 6 TV points around the house. The pack we were given had to have general wall outlets. Each one with 1 data 1 phone 1 TV and 1 pay TV point on it. We didn't have the option of Gavin them separate. They have all been run back to the cabinet in the garage. The TV plugs are connected to a StarServe box. I have no idea if this is right, I just trusted PD to put in the right thing. To their defense, anything that the fibre company have said was wrong, PD has had fixed quickly! Re: EdenBrook Pakenham 60May 14, 2012 2:49 pm Thats really good to hear that PD fixes things quickly wateman, because with my appt. with argus, they were not sure as to where the antenna wire goes? With your info, i can ask them to get it back to the cabinet in the garage.. Thanks |
