Hi all,
We're new to blogging on this website (and blogging in general for that matter) but have been reading some people's experiences building for a while so we thought we would share our own.
We're first home buyers and builders, So we're finding the whole process new and exciting!
So far we've bought a block of land in Cameron Park, Lake Macquarie (30 mins from Newcastle
CBD). It's huge at 2000 m2 with a fantastic bush back drop.
Like heaps of people we've spent many weekends going through display villages and there's a couple of builders we like. One that we keep coming bak to is Eden Braes Memphis 31 mk3 with the Northcott facade.
We've met with the sales rep at Waterford county to discuss the tender process and other details about inclusions, timeframes etc. We were pretty happy with what he had to say, so we've gambled $750 bucks to get a proper tender .
We've arranged an appointment to discuss our tender. It's locked in for late May at Eden Brae head office. So hopefully as long as things are reasonably priced (and in our budget) we can go to the next step.
If anyone has any tips or helpful hints please let us know.
More to come!
