How long did it take for you to get council approval for the pergola? Hubby and I want an alfresco under the main roof but exceeds site coverage so we are looking into other options. L x Thanks Linh, council approval was pretty quick actually - we asked our neighbours to sign the plan and a note to say they were happy with the design so I think that helped to get it through ... I really wanted an alfresco but in hindsight it would have made the house so dark so very happy with the pergola ..
