Honestly we are a friendly bunch. Re: Hey, y’all meet another friendly neophyte... 36May 05, 2012 10:57 pm IF you dont use tiny pics (not everyone likes tiny things Kiwi ) you can also use photobucket, well thats what I use. Upload your photos then when they are uploaded hover over the pic a box will drop down click on the IMG code copy it then paste it into your post on here and Bobs your Aunty you have pics Good to see we didn't scare you off (and we may have been taking the p*ss out of you just a little bit ) But it seems you've held your own as you are still here and haven't run away with your tail between your legs yet so all good I'm surprised you didn't like the pics of my first pond tho the one with the Island in it. YOu have supply pics tho or we wont believe your real we are a hard crowd to please Cheers Janet Re: Hey, y’all meet another friendly neophyte... 38May 08, 2012 10:42 pm Alright, thank you for your help guys. And for your patience I've been having issues with convincing myself if I am real or not in the last few days. Been crazy busy with work, I don't even know where my head is... Anyway, I got my head around adding pictures after all (after getting someone at work to show it to me LOL) Anyway, here are some pix of my backyard. Rather small, but hey I like it a lot. I was going to take some new pictures, but I have been working long hours and have not been home in daylight for quite some time. Anyway, here we go: I did all the landscape after buying the house 7 years ago. Lot of the plants I propagated myself ... These are the ones I have uploaded (with some help and I know now how to do it, so I'll add more as my time allows. Anyway, let me know what you think and I'll try to get some more recent photos uploaded some time in the future. Do you guys have photos of your gardens uploaded? Please let me know, I would love to check them out too. I better go and get some sleep Good night. Adam Re: Hey, y’all meet another friendly neophyte... 39May 08, 2012 10:58 pm Looks very lush. Nice! I have yard pics on my thread, link below. We have an acre in NZ Nothing as pretty as yours though Adam. Well done you Re: Hey, y’all meet another friendly neophyte... 40May 08, 2012 11:07 pm Hi Adam good to see that you may infact be real I have a couple of questions about your garden (which looks great by the way ) How come most of the plants are in pots and not in the ground ??? Did you do the crazy pav yourself ? And just because I love frogs do you get many frogs in your garden and if yes what sort ???? I had a bit of a giggle over your question about our gardens (well mine anyway) and I shall post a photo ( a pic paints a thousand words) and you shall understand Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I live on 7 acres of nothing but grass LOL Until we get our bore down we wont be planting much garden (we have all the pipework around the land so when the bore is in most of the land will have water accessable to it) No point planting until we know we can water it and I not walking 500 metres with a watering can every day LOL We do plan on having an extensive garden tho when the bore goes in and we get our sh*t together (read prob never) Had a lovely garden in our old house and that was the reason for moving out onto the larger acreage. Now I'm tired and rambling LOL |
