We were charged 1067. When we went over for our construction drawings appointment we were informed we will have to pay more for another thermostat. The new quote states "Provide 1 No additional programable thermostat to accomodate 2 zone controls" The original read as "Provide 2 zone controls to single storey ducted heating system" - $1067 Is this the case with everyone that have opted for two heating zones. I got 2 controllers and couldn'tlive without it. Pay the extra amount... pd didn't charge us for some reason, I wish I had known about dual thermostats earlier. Re: Porter Davis homes 5215May 02, 2012 10:36 am J & C Has anyone installed a video intercom system? We are looking at a Samsung or Mobotix ? Has anyone else used video intercoms made by these companies. Samsung quoted us $699+$399 for an additional monitor. Is this a good price. Hi J & C, Hopefully you’ll get some responses from the forum members but also feel free to ask your BC, they might have advice about prices and suppliers. Good luck with getting it sorted. Looks like I have to add 2-3 weeks onto my build which will put it into the penalty zone for sure. Re: Porter Davis homes 5217May 02, 2012 2:23 pm Just went to the house to take the tiler some chocolates and noticed we have a white plastic laundry trough. Has this happened to anyone else? Our contract says stainless steel, however we are not sure if we like it or not. It feels nicer than the SS ones, we just have to decide whether to leave it or get PD to honour the contract. Might wait until the tapware is in to see how it looks then. Very American. Leanne We got a stainless steel laundry trough but I must say that it scratches easily. I say that you make them change it if it bothers you. With the complete promo the laundry trough is defiantly S/S Re: Porter Davis homes 5219May 02, 2012 2:49 pm We are the same promo T, just checked the contract and it is definitely in there. Better let Rups have a look before I decide We would like to bath the baby in there, so the plastic (I think they call it polymer) may feel nicer.
