I think if the fridge isn't as deep as your hole, just set if forward a bit. . . I don't think it will move back, and if it does, you can just put a bit of timber in between the back and the skirting board. .. Gawd. . . I am FULL of good ideas! Hey Leece, there's a wonderful thread on things you may have forgotten when building. . . somewhere. It includes plumbing water behind the fridge, and extra power points. .. there's stuff there that you'd never dream of. .. okjorg will lead you to it if you ask her nicely. Power points in the eaves at the front for Xmas lights, power and a light in the roof for if you have to do any work up there or want to store stuff . . . sounds like you've thought of a lot of it already though .. . good work!
