Me too, what are you up to build wise?. Re: Pattycake's PA [fortified village] Plaster finish 117Apr 25, 2012 8:30 am Hi there........ Just about finished hanging the internal doors - gyprock should be kicking off within the next 2 weeks (I know that hanging doors before gyprocking is not normally done, but the PAAL systems does it this way due to their adjustable jams.......a bit more measuring and cutting for the plasterers though) We've had all our kitchen delivered - it's on a huge pallet and wrapped in plastic.....looks like a massive job for us when we get to that point (I'm not game to open the package.... )....part of it is flat-packed and as I'm the flat-pack queen in the household it will probably fall on me to assemble......oh well. We'll be getting our hardwood floorboards delivered soon so that they can aclimatise (sp??) for a month or two before laying. Thing have moved slowly for us - trying to do as much as we can, and then waiting for trades to do the other bits, along with both of us working and looking after 2 daughters.....been a hectic/upsidedown 18 months for us so far !!! With your fireplace, can you tell me who install it? We also have a fireplace, the builder did the frame wrong. I ask him to lift it above the ground 400mm but he didn't. It is now ground level, which I don't really want and he doesn't want to change it Can you give me the measurement of how high your fireplace sit above floor level?
