Looks like you've been well informed by your friends on this forum. Prestart is indeed a very exciting time and it's only natural to be feeling a little nervous about it. But remember that your Prestart Coordinator is there to help and lend their knowledge, so try not to fret about it. You can always contact your Prestart Coordinator at any time with your queries. In the meantime you might like to read our blog post with tips about Prestart - so hopefully this will give you a better idea of what to expect. All the best - I shall look forward to hearing more about your journey! Jemima. meifong16 Just a quick update, we've now set up a date for our pre-start meeting and it's gonna be held on the 15th May. I'm getting excited and nervous at the same time. Guess I'll have to start thinking about "smart wiring" and electrical plan now which I'm totally clueless about!!!! Is there anything else that I need to do before pre-start??? I feel so lost sometimes Dale Alcock Homes. We love building. TV positions at least 2 doubles at each TV position 7. 2 double power points (min) in each bedroom 8. Additional TV aerial points and network points in bedrooms? 9. I don't think I'll need a power point in the laundry cupboard as my vacuum is non-rechargeable I'm currently using a Dyson. You also need to consider if you want the lights on at the sae time. For example, we wanted a junction box in our alfresco for downlights. We also wanted a fan. We put 2 junction boxes in so we can have our lights on and not the fan If you have 8-10 lights in one room, how many junction boxes do you need to install? can you get away with one or do you need to install two? What is the cost of junction boxes through the builder?
