Sorry to hear about all the cracking issues. What a downer. But I am sure your house still looks lovely. Do you have an index of what pages you have house pics on? (me being lazy, ). Can't wait to see the finished results of your planter/water feature For info on our build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43093 Built the McLaren by Dechellis - slab down 22 Feb - handover 30 Aug 2011 - and gardens finished 9 Dec 2012!! Re: Bagheera's new pad - built with DAH 1458Apr 11, 2012 12:49 pm sorry McLaren I wish I was so good in doing art but not really - that abstract is the work of a local artist Eric Hoppe - love his work and have a few of his canvases. The chairs are antique - hubby is a collector - surprisingly we are using them as we don't have a desk chair and they seem to fit in quite well you might need to go to some auction places where they sell antiques. I need to post a photo of the blueboard wall as we spent Monday putting it up - currently looking for a renderer to cover it in Acrylic cement render which we will paint and seal. It will look good when finished - getting excited myself Preliminary agreement 23/11 Contract 22/03 Prestart 06/04 - finalised on 30/04 Unconditional approval 10/05 Demolition 05/07 Slab 26/08 Brickwork 13/09-06/10 Roof frame started 07/10 viewtopic.php?f=31&t=32292 Re: Bagheera's new pad - built with DAH 1459Apr 14, 2012 7:38 pm Looks great. Cant wait for more photos. Looking to do a feature wall and had a few questions if you dont mind. Did you get the steel frame made up or did you have to put it together yourself. Any reason why you didnt go for a wooden frame. Also can you not get an acrylic render paint yourself to finish it off.
