We will be building the waldorf 48 soon and I really like the colour selection of the display in bernly gardens. How do I get a list of all the colours used such as paint, tiles etc
Thanks,

I too think it means redundancies. I heard on the radio this morning PD offering double the grant! The grant now days thought is 20% discount of your stamp duty...well that’s what I have heard and it may have changed since the building and housing market softening. We got an update from our SS today that our architraves should be finished today and most of our windows have been fixed and the front window will be replaced and until that is received they will board it up. He also noted that the plaster will be in to fix the holes that were created from the bricks coming in through the windows and then start painting! Can't wait to see the colour. Our front door frame will be replaced too as they tried to kick it in which then chipped part of the frame off. SS also said he had an update from the plumber yesterday stating that the estates sewer won’t be ready until LATE APRIL or EARLY MAY!!!! I then asked would PD be paying me the additional fees for delay in completion and he said no as this is caused by the developer! So needless to say I am really disappointed as I was somewhat hoping for Easter or soon after and looks like our house will be finished and sitting around (hopefully the vandals don’t come back again) waiting to get the occupancy permit as that can't be achieved until the sewer is working. I hope everyone else’s build are moving along and I look forward to seeing your updated posts. On the plus side non of the tradies will have used your toilet Not good to hear of office closing but it's better to have them make sensible business decisions rather than trade it into the ground. Alpal was it you saying that your SS had only 3 houses on the go? I asked mine and he's running 14 which he said is a few less than normal but not significantly less. We're Geelong way (Prestige West). Nothing to update for us really....brickies moved on to other site as stacker door still not there but scaffolding due next week and brickies will be back to finish. Initial clean scheduled for 27th, not sure why they clean some now you'd think they'd do it all together but I'm sure there's a reason for it. Nothing happening inside other than a little bit of plumbing the other day...feels a bit slow at the minute because it's gone so fast but as I said to the SS yesterday we're not in a hurry and there's plenty of time. They are ruining my build watch fun though Everyone else seems to be going fast!! Re: Porter Davis homes 4635Feb 23, 2012 5:18 pm humble Alpal All, Just been informed my SS is changing... Surprise surprise. My SS informed me they have shut down the PD North Office and moved some of the staff back into the east office. Quite a few redundancies I suspect... They must be really struggling for work at the moment... Might be a few on this PD forum affected... Heads up... Considering they doubled the home owner grant, (PD offering) I would say your right. Think this is only for the Access range! Re: Porter Davis homes 4637Feb 23, 2012 5:24 pm Alpal All, Just been informed my SS is changing... Surprise surprise. How odd, we were informed of the North Office closing back in September last year and subsequently got a SS and BC change. Now we are onto BC number 6, but with only a few weeks to go (hopefully), I am hoping we stick with this one as she is very good Re: Porter Davis homes 4638Feb 23, 2012 5:32 pm MattnJac Alpal All, Just been informed my SS is changing... Well my BC's have gotten progressively better so from my experiences they seem to be keeping the better ones, my SS was switched before I even got to speak to my original one so have nothing to compare, however he has been really good so again seems they are retaining the right people. Re: Porter Davis homes 4640Feb 23, 2012 5:40 pm MattnJac J & C Does $55 per square metre sound like a competitive price for a capped wooden fence. Sure does, best quote we got was 62 per meter for 1.8m high paling capped fence with exposed posts That's what they have offered me for 1.8 m too, looks like its pretty standard pricing.
