You are nearly there!!! Oh I love the sound of that. Can't wait till we are at that stage. Our downstairs frame went up a few days ago so at least we are in the construction stage! Happy at Home Re: BUILDING update 353Jul 15, 2008 6:20 pm Rachelle I wonder if it's your camera as all your photos look a bit blue, even the bathroom tiles etc. yes its a possibility Re: BUILDING update 354Jul 15, 2008 11:11 pm I agree, colours look blue on my screen.
Good choice with the lighter tile for the balcony. I'm so jealous, want to see our house at that stage! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Built the Nevada 42 Next project - landscaping! Although if you had heard the discussion between DH and the SS today you wouldn't be at all envious . The closer to the end you get the further it seems away. Congrats HTB! Re: BUILDING update 357Jul 17, 2008 8:35 pm It's coming along HTB.
We went there today and they've finished patching the gyp rock and building the fireplace. I am a bit surprised at some of the odd decisions made by the tradies. They put the downstairs access point directly over our dining table which means I won't be able to get a feature light . We've got a dble shower but it doesn't look like its been plumbed for two showerheads and there is only one mixer . There are a few other minor issues relating to the tiles but they've told us they'll get fixed. I WON'T be moving in until it is all 100% perfect no matter how desperate we are to be in our own home. Floors will go in end next week before the painting is finished which will be interesting. Looks like they only have the painting to do, balustrades, door furniture, basins and fixing up our requests. It is slow, but it is happening. Patience is a virtue my DM tells me . Re: BUILDING update 358Jul 17, 2008 8:37 pm Oooo I'm excited to see all those little bits like the balustrades go in Dy!!
You have been very patient! I would be chomping at the bit Not long to go! Good on you for making sure it is 100% perfect!!
