I am liking the idea of extending the bedroom wall to define the hall a bit better and provide the privacy to the powder room but I'm not clear on where planfan is envisioning the bulkhead, are we talking against the bedroom/family room wall or across the hall bit of the family room? Am I right in thinking a bulkhead is lowered ceiling? Excuse my ignorance!
