Re: Show me your kitchen... 1791Jan 09, 2012 11:51 am AJW wildorchid We have recently moved into our new house, so thought Id share here too and this is ours (electrican still has to put in LED lights, then we are changing to saturn switch) http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww240/VLH19/house/DSCN0427.jpg I really like the way the ceiling drops down and forms a frame with the side walls. Looks great. Great choice in power points too. Only thing though with the white one is that the cooker isolation switch in the middle or something else? From the pic it looks like a 32amps switch which is normally used on an oven, however I know that the extra switch on the Saturn 4025X is only rated to 10amps. In my place I had to use an separate 32amp switch plate for the oven. My eyes could be wrong though and it could be something else altogether. thanks we have 2 the same on the splashback 1 has the switch for the slimline LED downlights that are in our overhead cupboards and yes, the other one has the cooker switch, we havent swapped them over yet, because we havent decided what we are going to do yet Re: Show me your kitchen... 1792Jan 09, 2012 5:44 pm wildorchid we have 2 the same on the splashback 1 has the switch for the slimline LED downlights that are in our overhead cupboards and yes, the other one has the cooker switch, we havent swapped them over yet, because we havent decided what we are going to do yet Did you just buy them thinking they looked the same or did you speak to a sparky first and buy what he said? The reason I ask is with standard series plates (such as your white ones), the middle switch is modular, so it is possible to get an 'oven' switch with the appropriate rating which will fit into the hole. However with Clipsal 4025X Saturn you have brought the middle switch is not modular and the switch is not rated high enough for most oven applications. This means a separate switch plate is needed for the oven. This will not be easy for the sparky to install as you have a glass splash back. In my place I have used the standard 4025 Saturn switches, but for my cooker I have one of these installed seperate to my standard outlets: http://www.clipsal.com/saturn/ranges_and_styles/cooker_switches Re: Show me your kitchen... 1793Jan 10, 2012 1:16 pm a friend that works at a wholesaler, we can bring them back (once we decide what we are going to do) the white ones dont actually bother me now that we are in. DH has the coffee machine infront of the one with the oven switch anyway, mind you i hate it being in a random spot on the bench (because we have a corner cupboard) Re: Show me your kitchen... 1794Jan 10, 2012 10:33 pm Just bought my new kitchen, I don't have pictures yet but this is quite how it will look like (if you follow the link you'll find a video clip and all the technical informations) http://www.effeti.com/eng/ProductSingle ... l=1&id=163 Re: Show me your kitchen... 1795Jan 10, 2012 10:48 pm Syl79 Just bought my new kitchen, I don't have pictures yet but this is quite how it will look like (if you follow the link you'll find a video clip and all the technical informations) http://www.effeti.com/eng/ProductSingle ... l=1&id=163 Impressive, I look forward to seeing the photos! Re: Show me your kitchen... 1796Jan 11, 2012 3:44 pm mrswudge Thank you! I find the splashback looks less dark in reality, as light picks up the metallic paint. The photos seem to make it more matte in appearance, if that makes sense? I am really happy with how it turned out, as the glass company had never used the colour before so I only had a small sample they made for me to go by. Congrats on your kitchen. Do you mind sharing what the cupboards are. Re: Show me your kitchen... 1797Jan 11, 2012 7:41 pm Thanks noki388!
