Re: Site plan - highest point - lowest point 5Dec 04, 2011 10:27 pm Thanks guys for all your help and explanation. Taking into account approx. 250mm of slab, i guess i will have fairly steep driveway. CC101 mr.21 Hey guys. I understand that I will be getting a retaining wall in my backyard as well as a result of 'cut and fill'. How tall would my retaining wall be, considering the highest point on my land is 101 and my house will be sitting on 100.6? Any help would be much appreciated. Raph how far is your built-in area from the boundary fence at the back. rathar than having a retaining wall at the back, can you not have that slop? CC101, i am not sure having a slope in the backyard would be a good idea. Kind of making it unuseable in my personal opinion. distance between back of my house and the boundary fence is 5.85m. At the moment, the builder is going to put a 400mm retaining wall between back of my house and the boundary fence. I am not sure if this is a good idea? I prefer a flat backyard. But my main concern is, given that we have 1m fall in my land and we are going for 'cut and fill', are we going to have drainage problems in the future?
