Dynamic Lifter over East will be fine but it's going to stink up the joint. Thanks! Stinky is ok... everyone else around here does it! ;-p Tips for getting my lawn nice for house sale 7Nov 08, 2011 9:42 pm Get the Nutrog Rooster Booster for lawns. It's pulverised so won't cover the lawn with pellets. Please understand how beneficial molasses will be. Re: Tips for getting my lawn nice for house sale 8Nov 09, 2011 7:27 am Thanks so much Fu Manchu! Now how often should I be doing this to have it looking as good as I can get it by February? (I also want to know how often I should do this to the lawn at the new house as I plan to maintain the next one... a nicer house should have a nicer lawn! ( jk haha) Re: Tips for getting my lawn nice for house sale 9Nov 09, 2011 7:35 am Oh and another question Fu, what would you recommend as the best way to get rid of bindis and clover etc. taking into consideration I have Buffalo?? I noticed pretty much all the spray also kill buffalo but read that Brunnings granular Feed & Weed for buffalo and kikuyu lawns is good? My Dad suggested I dig them out (he made it sound easy... BUT IT'S EVERYWHERE!!!) Tips for getting my lawn nice for house sale 10Nov 09, 2011 8:24 am There is a number of threads on here dedicated to your question. Use the search button and all will be revealed. Not just what to use but how. Methods no one else will know. Re: Tips for getting my lawn nice for house sale 13Nov 11, 2011 11:28 am Folks I have said it before but the above comment sums it all up. Quote: I'm also not much of a gardener... I'd rather be playing with my kids at this point in their lives Everything I crap on about here comes down to making this a reality but at the same time having the same result as the crazy lawn guy down the road or the elite gardener next door. They do it at massive cost environmentally and financially but get great pleasure in their past time. Many of you couldn't give a stuff about doing that, so with some work at the start and minimal things after, it all comes together. It ironically involves organic care and you get the best value for money possible at the lowest cost to you from home energy and water bills. Grow your own food and see lower grocery bills too. Re: Tips for getting my lawn nice for house sale 14Nov 11, 2011 12:13 pm When I bought some molasses recently the bloke at the rural supplies wanted to know how many horses I had and where they were kept....he couldn't believe I was going to use it in the garden. Fu, I dobbed on you and told him 'Fu said to do it' LOL Couldn't beat the price at $1 per litre and they supplied a 20 litre container. Warning....I would not recommend a 20 litre container for molasses unless you eat lots of spinach, it's extremely heavy a fact which I had forgotten as I hadn't bought it for yonks. 2 x 10 litre containers would be perfect and be more balanced. Re: Tips for getting my lawn nice for house sale 15Nov 12, 2011 5:57 am hehehe yeah I asked the guy in the garden place about molasses and he gave me a very strange look and told me I must have got the name wrong bahahaha.... I will still get it! Fu, absolutely. I really like your advice. I think it's something I can realistically start doing in the new place and actually continue to be consistent! Just be careful with building stability during construction, that is when the structure may be weakened, refer to your engineering drawings for stability methodology. 1 7450 Thank you so much.
