Went to the Coco Republic sale and got some bargains Then we went out and looked at the new displays at Casiana Grove. They are beautiful. They keep getting better and better. The master in the new lifestyle double (think its the Rochford) is amazing. Then we went and looked at the other displays in the area. I absolutely love the Santana, if we were at the start of all this again, I probably would have chosen it. Do you think we can do PCV #8 and change house? Lol, I think Rups would divorce me. Hi Rups & Leanne, Big day out indeed! Looks like you scored at the sale – well done! Thanks for your feedback on the displays - we agree with you, they are really beautiful and we’re pretty proud of them. Cheers, Ebony Porter Davis Homes Questions? Wohoooo Team PD very happy with my new home Mel Congrats! Must be so exciting! Looks like a busy weekend for you! Porter Davis homes 3559Oct 25, 2011 7:16 am Hi all, I have been thinking about this all weekend and need your opinions... We signed our mortgage documents on Friday with our broker (our loan is with ANZ) and are just about to sign off on our final drawing once PD get them to us.. When we met with our broker she told me that our building coordinator had called him and email him about a dozen times in the last 2 days trying to get him to sign a PD form guaranteeing that we had full approval for our funds. Our broker explained that only the bank could sign the form but he would be happy to send a copy of our approval letter. Our BC then threatened to PULL OUR BUILDING CONTRACT(!!!!) if he didn't sign >:( Has anyone else had this kind of thing with their BC? Our first BC was fantastic, really nice and very helpful, always told us what was going on. We have now been given a new one... (Edited - I was a bit rash with my comments) So yeah, what are your thoughts? Should I email her and demand an explanation? Or should I let it go and just try to have as little to do with her as possible? -Cat Building the Drysdale 30 Wallara Waters, Wallan My Blog : http://www.ourwallanhome.blogspot.com My thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=50975 Re: Porter Davis homes 3560Oct 25, 2011 8:26 am I would at the very least raise a complaint with somebody higher than your BC, and also raise the issue with her, just so it is made aware that you know this has happened, and you are not OK with it. It certainly doesn't sound like the way they should be dealing with people, and definitely not something you want to hear about! Even if they were most likely only bluffing. I think some of these BC's lose sight of just how important building a home is to their customers. To us it's a home, to them it's more work. They shouldn't treat something so important (and expensive) to their customers so flippantly. Hi there! Putting the feelers out there for those who have (or almost) built with Arli homes!
