Re: Colorbond roof overpainting 4Aug 29, 2011 4:29 am Sally, I used to be a fastidious industrial floor coating applicator and I even painted floors at the Hastings (Victoria) steel mill where they made colorbond too, and I would just like to say that disreputable painters do not give good advice like Michael Terry has done in the above post. Michael sounds like a true professional to me. Before I became a floor coating applicator I used to remove graffiti from buildings in the 1980's and I found colorbond to be the best paint system hands down because I frequently removed graffiti from it using paint strippers without damaging (much) the colorbond underneath.
