It might make a difference? If you do try ensuring none are assigned to DVD (if you can). What about swapping them all to another imput (that also has a component video input - there's three there)? You already make enough noise with those speakers in the al fresco. Loud is fine....but this is "blow up speakers" level at normal listening level for anything else!! I did quite a bit of reading about them before I bought it, and while it misses a few feature of the more expensive models, I wasn't too fussed about it. This unit was $690 - so I couldn't say no!
