I like working left to right and my wife is used to right to left. I chose a drain on the left and now battle with my wife stacking things up on the right hand side bench space instead of the left hand drainer. In hindsight I would have had a double bowl sink with drains on left and right. I also find it is better to have a large deep sink for those extra large pots, and the smaller sink on one side is useless. Would prefer to have had 2 large sinks and large drain areas both sides. The Blanco one was standard with the builder and the Oliveri one I seem to remember I had to pick it because the one the builder was going to supply for the pantry was discontinued.....or something...... Anyway, they both hold water so far! There doesn't seem to be much difference,although the Oliveri has a different drainer profile and does come standard with a nice chopping board and rubbish thing.
