After hearing some in ceiling speakers from manufacturers such as Krix they have come a long, long way in the last few years. A good set of ceiling speakers (combined with a good subwoofer) is a definate option in today's homes where space is at a premium. oh and to the OP - I am not a massive fan of the Polk's - I think there is better value to be had if you shop around. So it's simple - with Paradigm you get more bang for your buck (and the bang is as good as any quality speaker manufacturer on the market....)
