Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 05, 2011 4:52 pm Our final progress payment was sent to us today; they said it was urgent we paid them, due to valuations, insurance, etc. However there are still outstanding issues with our house that have not been rectified for nearly 2 months. Bathroom and Laundry tiling is not level and needs to be re-done, they are having issues with our painter, Our hot water system is not level and needs to be fixed, areas on the wall still need to be plastered, roof tiles need to be replaced, and there a few other things that I can’t think of right now. Do we sign this for the funds to be released? They have assured us everything will be fixed within the next week, but we don't feel comfortable paying them until these problems are rectified.....Not that we don’t trust them, our supervisor is a bit slack that’s all.
