Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 2126Jun 15, 2011 9:24 pm Well done team Georges Fair On a more serious note - will we also be looking to meet in the near future to discuss future proofing the rejection? Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 2127Jun 15, 2011 9:28 pm Regarding some queries on "landscapers" I drafted my own landscaping plan using the Georges Fair sales booklet as a guide for information required. It took me a few hours of work but also saved me around $750-$1000 in having a landscaper put a "plan" together. Don't be afraid to try this if your builder (which my builder Metricon) wont submit a plan on your behalf. We also will be doing our own landscaping - this will save us the so called $10K fee + associated with employing a landscaper. Unfortunately I don't know any fencers of concreters but keep me posted on your search. cheers Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 2130Jun 15, 2011 10:39 pm Guys can I just say that if anyone has read the article in today's Liverpool Champion you will notice that I have been misquoted. I absolutely DID NOT say that GF residents would be ok with the recycling plant under ANY circumstances. I have emailed the journalist to clarify this although I suspect it is too late to do anything about it!!! Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 2131Jun 15, 2011 10:48 pm Dont worry Fi. I read it but knew immediately that you were misquoted. Why would we trust their so called "guarantee"? I knew straight away you didn't say that. For all your joinery needs, we custom build kitchens, office, wardrobes, garage, laundry fit outs plus TV units, pantry, linen and everything in between. PM me for more info or details. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 2132Jun 16, 2011 7:18 am G'day Everyone, Nice to meet you all Georges Fair neighbours. My partner and I have exchanged contract end of last month for the Brushwood release. We don't settle until December which give us sometimes to prepare our finance. We are looking forward to built our first Torren Title home. We were recommended by my high school friend/ex co worker who also bought in the Brushwood release. After we placed our deposit, we found out that our three other friends are also building in GF. Georges Fair is the place to be. Been reading through the forum regarding the recycling plant. When do we find out about the decision about the plant? My mate and I would like to get involve and assist to fight this all the way to defeat the proposal. Looking forward to the meet some of you on Saturday at the Jazz festival.
