Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Colorbond Dune and Monument together? 16May 30, 2011 2:54 pm Hi East_Melb_Build. You may be interested in a photo of my facade because my selections include Bristle ‘Heritage Newcastle’ roof tiles and Colorbond ‘Monument’ guttering and fascia with Colorbond ‘Dune’ downpipes. My other selections include Colorbond ‘Jasper’ windows, Solver ‘Beaver’ render, Hume ‘Newington XN16’ entry door in Solver ‘Monument’ which isn’t visible in the photo, ‘Caoba’ garage panel doors, ISI 025 Ezi Fit stacked stone to piers and exposed aggregate driveway in ‘Salt & Pepper’ mix with 8% charcoal oxide. I had to change my colour selections half way through construction but I think somehow it has all come together quite well (bad brickwork resulted in upgrade to full render and many colour changes). My two cents- I generally don’t like different coloured gutters/fascia but it looks nice on some homes. Re: Colorbond Dune and Monument together? 18Jun 06, 2011 8:09 pm Casa2 I'm not afan of different colour fascia to the gutters. (Mine are both Monument. If it helps, my garage door and steelwork are Dune.) casa, Do you have a photo of your house?? We have just chosen monument gutters/fascia/downpipes and dune garage and cladding, would loev to see yours all together Thanks Hi all, Our boundary perimeter fences need replacing (3 sides). From everyone's experience, what would you install? Timber lapped and capped OR colorbond? Thank you. 0 3318 Your house roof does not show rusting other than some surface rust on the flashings. In my opinion you dont need to replace or paint the roof other than treat surface rust… 1 10697 You should pressure clean your roof first and make sure the paint you buy also is anti mould. 4 21166 |
