Definitely tell the site supervisor. If you can't contact him you could also consider telling the brickies if you are 100% sure there's a mistake. The contract will say you can't instruct them to stop but you can still discuss the issue with them, and they can choose to brick another area first. Perhaps you can ask to see the plans they are working from and show them the plans you have.
