Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design Re: My Landscaping. 88May 04, 2011 9:15 pm Lex Welcome back I posted a Q for you before you went away ... http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=12911&hilit=+gravel&p=707262#p707262 Second Q ... ( ) ... you mentioned Tasman full caps. Did you use them for the first wall too? Did you find their colour differs to the blocks? Apparently, they are not made by the same manufacturer, so the full caps could have slight difference (or so it says in the brochure). Thanks Hi Lex - Answer to your first question is on the other thread. I did not use full caps on my first wall. I checked the colour match with my blocks as soon as I got home and they are spot on so no probs. Re: My Landscaping. 90May 05, 2011 2:40 pm Progress pics from today

After the wall is done I'm going to turn my hand to paving. My Landscaping (New Pics 5/8/11) 93May 05, 2011 9:05 pm Keen had a good link for a DIY paving website he posted it once for someone. It would help a lot because some of the how to pave vids on hardware sites and YouTube are just embarrassing to the trade. Of course there are some good ones but how is a novice to tell good from not so good. Re: My Landscaping (New Pics 5/8/11) 94May 06, 2011 8:07 am Yep I've seen a few of those on the net. Luckily a mate of mine is a builder and he is going to help me a bit. He has screed rails and a dumpy level which will ensure the base has the correct gradients etc. He also has a brick saw which will make cutting the pavers heaps easier as well.
