Well almost, a quick update, the verandah will be going up in about 3 weeks, hopefully SA water will be moving the meter in the middle of the driveway very soon, probably next weekhttp://i833.photobucket.com/albums/zz260/raezell2/fingers-crossed-emoticon.png The security doors should be about 3weeks, we have ordered our solar panels (don't know how long for that one, have to check today). We had a letter from Telstra saying that we should be getting the phone connected probably the week after Easter!!!!

For anyone interested I have a few photos of the curtain material, I am getting pelmets in the same material, in our bedroom the sheers have a small pattern on the bottom of them. In the family room, kitchen and dining we will be able to pull them right back from the windows, and the lounge as well. I can't wait to have curtains!!!! DD is going really well, she is still working but has cut back her hours, and when at home she is on partial bed rest, baby is a bit small, so she is having scans every 2 weeks now and yesterday doctor said baby had put on 300 grams in a fortnight so he was very pleased. She is very lucky to have a fantastic partner that does everything for her. We are also very lucky to have him in our family too!!!! Oops a bit of rambling going on then, its been such a long time between posts. I am going to try and catch up with everyone's thread over Easter.

Hi Lucene, the material for your curtains is gorgeous. They'd look well in my house, of course because we have such similar tastes.

I met someone else on H1 who sounds like she's our twin so maybe we were triplets separated at birth.

Welcome Back Lucerne, I'm glad your computer is back up and running, we have just had Telstra connect us up at home. Modem arrived last Tuesday, so back up to full speed, we had one of those dongle things and it was soooo slow. The only time I could catch up on Homeone was from work, it's good to be back to normal.

I love the fabric you have chosen, the wait is awful, but having said that you have so many other things to think about and organise, I cant believe we have been in for 3 months already and still so much to do, I hope by Xmas the inside will be normal ::wink::

Look forward to seeing your curtains go in, I think we will both be shocked at the difference they will make to the rooms.

They don't tell you all the things that aren't connected before you move in, maybe if we knew at least you can be prepared. I love your taste Lucene. Those curtain fabrics are gorgeous. How long for DD now? It is very exciting and all my best wishes for a speedy (although not too speedy, one likes to make it to the hospital) birth.

Bugger about the phone and internet...mine are still ongoing so I understand the frustration. AND the lack of presence on H1. I was gone for 3months...just about broke me :lol:
