The kitchen benchtop is white valencia diamond gloss laminex and the cabinets are just classic white melamine. ^ all my wifes selections She has great taste!! We have chose (well actually I have chosen) lexicon 1/4 for walls, ceiling and cornice etc.We have pure mineralstone diamond gloss (it's white) and polar white for the cupboards. So yep, very similar. Looks great!! Re: Ant & Shannons Coral Homes - stradbroke 279 73May 04, 2011 2:45 pm Oh wow. That is awesome. It feels like you only just started. It has gone so fast!! Our site gets cut tomorrow and everything else starts on the 17th. You will probable be in before we have our slab. Make sure you post more pics Re: Ant & Shannons Coral Homes - stradbroke 279 74May 04, 2011 2:51 pm Oh, and can I ask you are big favour? When you are there next, can you please measure the feature recess in the entry? I have found some paintings I like for our recess and don't want to buy anything too big or too small. No worries if you forget or don't have a tape measure The bank has told us we have access to surplus funds during construction. I wish they hadn't said that Re: Ant & Shannons Coral Homes - stradbroke 279 78May 07, 2011 8:13 am snaps Tamara - it was 135cm x 56cm Awesome!! Thanks heaps for that. Re: Ant & Shannons Coral Homes - stradbroke 279 79May 12, 2011 12:52 pm Alright, enough of keeping me in suspense!! Whats happening?? LOL. And I have a question. What sort of lighting have you gone for in the main living area/kitchen? We are looking at getting LED downlights. Re: Ant & Shannons Coral Homes - stradbroke 279 80May 12, 2011 7:32 pm Ask and you shall receive. Here are the latest pics of the house, we went with compact fluorescent down lights for the walk in robe, alfresco and all the main living areas, the rest of the rooms have standard fluro battons – with exception to the master bed room which has a fancyish looking 4 light holder and the kitchen with has 3 pendant lights. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14428 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4381 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 76897 |
