I shudder to think what this might cost.... If it's what you've got your heart set on, Go for it !!! Skip food this week if need be, this sort of thing, if you don't do it at this stage, you'll never do it !! sceen7 ......... i'm not sure how we would fix it to the ceiling...... An aluminium or stainless-steel U-channel fixed to the ceiling ??? sceen7 ............The ceiling height would be 2.8 meters in the shower area and I was hopeing the glass could reach that high. Thoughts everyone? My only thought is that it'll be a bugger to clean that high for a couple of reasons......One, that it's a long way up, you'll need a (soft-foot) small stepladder kept in the (nearby) laundry, and two, I find the easiest way to clean our shower screen is spray it liberally with Shower-Power, wait 5 minutes and then have a shower and wipe it off. Not sure if you want to be spraying your shower-cleaner so close to the Gyprock ceiling ??? Cheers, P_D . I shouldnt write posts at 2am when I can't sleep does anyone else go to bed thinking of flooring materials and wake up contemplateing tapware? I need a life!!!! Re: Shower Screen height 28Apr 21, 2011 10:24 pm Make sure you will be able to stand the panel of glass up in the bathroom once you get it through the door! If unsure, make a template and try that first. Many a sales rep have overlooked this. It may mean you have to wait with installing your vanity or pan till the glass is in, all depends on the size of the bathroom. Ok now for the sixty four thousand dollar question, How much can I expect to pay for a Glass panel 2 meters long and 2.6 meters high??? Your shower screen has failed in the way it is designed to fail with tempered glass. You could replace it with laminated safety glass but make sure it has AS standards logo on it 1 11243 I'll look into different shower heads and ask the plumber about some engineering and see what he says. Thanks 2 9713 You have no photo with your post. Best I can say is to remove an A&L flyscreen don't be afraid to distort the frame almost like a trapezium. It doesn't take a lot of… 1 7199 |
