My fiancee and I have a block of land located in Sydney western suburbs. We have looked at a variety of homes and seeing that it is our first home and in the process of planning our wedding our price range for our home is a bit on the low side. We have decided to go with Allworth Homes Concerto plan. I have recently paid a deposit of $500 for a tender and paid $2,500 to get our plans drawn up and hopefully sent to the council in 6 weeks time.
I have done some research and I have discovered that the majority of Allworth buyers paid $500 for the tender and only paid $2,000 for the plans?
Not sure if this is a new rule or if I'm getting ripped off? $500 may not seem that big of a deal seeing that a house is worth a lot more. I'm just not sure why we are getting treated different?
