Hey guys
I have just received handover, and was wondering whether I need to "Seal" my quantum quartz kitchen benchtops.
Thanks
Andy

Youve just gotta be careful not to leave any highly coloured stuff on it for a long period, especially with a light coloured bench. We havent had anything mark ours so far, we just make sure not to leave anything that could stain on it for too long. Built Porter Davis "Dromana" 2007. Re: Quantum Quartz benchtops: Do they require Sealing? 4Jun 06, 2008 11:08 am Hi Andy,
I asked Manager at National Tiles and she said we don't need to do anything! Isn't that nice! I think the only things we need to be careful of as Vanderlay said is products that can stain..... I'll be more careful with food colouring in the future when the kids bake. I put some cellophane on my current laminate bench the other day after I had wiped it down and now I have purple marks all over it!!! Will be more careful when we have our QQ!! http://www.wk.com.au/quantum_what.htm How is the move going?? Can't wait to see some pic's!! Re: Quantum Quartz benchtops: Do they require Sealing? 10Jun 07, 2008 11:38 am Thanks Vanderlay! Looks great, we are having Ice too. Are you happy with it? I had Ice and New Diamond White picked and managed to see the big slabs at National Tiles when we did our tile selection. I think NDW is great but Ice had the whiter look that I wanted. Started off with Coral Reef, but wanted a "whiter" look Built Porter Davis "Dromana" 2007. 2) Get a sample in your chosen colour (they're free!) and put a beetroot on it. Leave overnight and clean off. This way you'll know exactly how sensitive your colour is.
