Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 07, 2011 1:47 pm We live in a newtown terrace, it has limited sub floor ventilation. We've researched options for fan and pump systems to pump in air under neath, but am surprised by the costs. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations as to what might have worked for them? Thankyou Re: Sub floor ventilation 2Mar 07, 2011 2:16 pm We had forced fan sub floor ducted ventilation installed cost about $1400. didnt seem to make much difference or even made it worse, until we asked another comany to come and have a look. Turned out the fan was sucking air in and blowing the smelly air through all the gaps in the sills and floorboards. I went under and changed the fan around and it was a lot better after that Be carefull who you choose as we found out there are a lot of cowboys out there.
