Or you could ring some demolition yards to see if they have any. The should have something that will look close to what is there. Then a handy man to re mount it. Might need a clean up on the hinge side and also to patch the hole in the jamb. You'll have to make a new hole in the jamb for the striker. Re: How would you fix this hole in the door? 8Mar 04, 2011 6:08 am any half decent hardware supplies shop should carry these doors, espescially if they supply the trade, should be about $50, your problem will be to match the varnish finish, it will most likely look different to the esisting doors even with taking the best care.
