Yes, quite positive, albeit vague, response from DOT.
Looking forward to hearing more news and seeing some progress throughout the year
Browse Forums Building A New House Re: williams landing 1310Feb 21, 2011 2:51 pm http://wyndham-leader.whereilive.com.au/news/story/williams-landing-intruder/ A MAN has broken into an occupied Williams Landing house after his knocks on its front door went unanswered. Police said the man jemmied a garage door to get into the Moorhen Blvd house and ran off after walking in on a family. The break-in was on February 1 at 3pm. The man was described as European, aged in his mid to late 30s, thin build, thin drawn face, light coloured eyes and clean shaven. He wore three-quarter length jeans, a black cap and black hooded jumper, and could have been driving an old model black sports car without registration plates. Re: williams landing 1312Feb 23, 2011 6:42 am That is awful, we had a break in 21/02/2011. We were out for 45 mins in the middle of the day, we came home to find our house broken into. They climbed the side fence to get in and out, it's disgusting. I suspect they knocked first or were watching to see when we went out or were just REALLY brave. Looks like we will have to move the buying of a dog up the list of priorities. Am off to dicksmiths today to investigate alarm options. Be careful and keep your eyes open all. Re: williams landing 1313Feb 23, 2011 2:00 pm danj Wow that's a terrible spoiler alert! We're moving in tomorrow... Has anyone put in an alarm system? Any recommendations? Last year, I took the back to base alarm package and they are pretty good. The package contains: -. Devices (4 PIR, external and internal alarm) and installation - paid upfront for around $500-600 -. Sign a monitoring contract with them for 3 years @ $33/pm PM if you are interested. Re: williams landing 1314Feb 23, 2011 4:01 pm Ar&Gc That is awful, we had a break in 21/02/2011. Re: williams landing 1315Feb 23, 2011 5:07 pm These sort of things happen anywhere......... That said, this was also Wyndham Waters. I am yet to hear of a break in in WL, not that we are immune from it. It can happen just as easliy at Richmond etc. Re: williams landing 1317Feb 25, 2011 11:46 am News from Herald Sun regarding RRL: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victoria/cuts-likely-for-regional-rail-link/story-e6frf7kx-1226010293322 Seems the RRL project is still there but the budget is CUT! Re: williams landing 1320Mar 02, 2011 10:15 am adray81 Hi Guys, I'm at stage 6 and my house is currently at fixing stage. Can anyone tell me how I can contact the developer to start work on the side fence? Ur help is much appreciated. I spoke to Cedar Woods yesterday about the same, as I am in Stage 6 also, and almost complete. You need to complete the form at the rear of the Design Guidelines, and submit it to Cedar Woods, nominating your intended date of occupation, and enclose the Occupancy Certificate that the builder will provide to you. That gets you in the 'queue' for fencing, which they are obligated to provide within 30 days of receiving the above information. As a side issue, you also nominate on the form your selected Landscaping package, which they will complete within 90 days, provided you have complied with all other aspects of the design guidelines. EG curtains installed to front rooms, driveway and letterbox installed etc. I am looking to design an entry door to a lower ground basement that has 2200mm between the external entry height to FFL of the ground floor. This door will provide an… 0 12981 |
