I suppose my only problem is that the roof is dune and the units are cream/beige. Might take my colourbond sample into the air con place tomorrow at try and see how it goes. Thanks again Re: Colourbond Dune roof what colour unit?? 6Feb 03, 2011 9:06 pm If I had to blend unit I would rather lighter than dark.Units have limited colour range{like you don't know by now].Pick two colours then go for a drive to find then.Ps who would think we would worry about colour of unit on a roof Re: Colourbond Dune roof what colour unit?? 7Feb 03, 2011 9:59 pm Cream looks a bit funny next to Dune. We just ordered a Dune and Jasper shed yesterday and was told the windows only come in certain colours (none of which were Dune). I held the paperbark sample next to it, but it just looked odd. Ended up paying an extra $60 to have the window frame painted Dune....one less thing for us to do by painting it ourselves. So in saying that, I'd probably say Chocolate if it matches the Jasper or is painting it Dune an option if you want it to blend??? I don't know anything about evaporative units lol. I think I'd go the chocolate. Still not in. Don't ask!? Re: Colourbond Dune roof what colour unit?? 9Feb 04, 2011 5:41 am I’ve just completed a remote consultation, their roof will be Dune. I looked at other colours for the gutters, and they were too yellow next to the Dune. Not a good combo. I’d go the choc, and try and have the unit set at the back of your roofline so it’s not so visible from the street. Re: Colourbond Dune roof what colour unit?? 13Feb 04, 2011 3:02 pm Hi all, we went into the aircon place and they had a unit there. The colour is beige not cream and the dune sample looked pretty close. At the end of the day we decided to try and have it blend as much as possible and the brown just wasn't really going to work with the look we wanted. So thankyou everyone for your ideas and pics. The unit is supposed to be going on next week so I will post a pic of the outcome then if you like. Although I think it will be from a distance cos I am not getting on the roof!! So the reflection from the sun probably will change everything again. Thankyou Robyn Re: Colourbond Dune roof what colour unit?? 14Feb 05, 2011 1:47 pm Beige is good, much better than anything in a yellow tone.
