Usually when people want to move the tap they move the whole pipe, other wise you'll have a length of pipe running through the ground and possibly no idea it was there (unless you moved it yourself) To put it in perspective. Most of the time when a tradesman finds a pipe/cable/drain underground, they assume it goes in a straight line. Very costly when they assume wrong.
