I did toy with the idea of pure white without any tint, but my partner was pretty against it haha. He thinks it would have looked like a pharmacy and we needed some difference from the stark white kitchen. Having said that, I do think it would have looked good too. We ended up finding time and painted a couple of areas a few days ago, and it turns out that the whisper white looked quite neutral and clean, while lexicon half turned out very blue. We've decided on whisper white, and think it would allow us to introduce some other colour elements. I think the darkness of my house (it is a terrace) needed some warmth, but I was worried about it looking dirty or pink. I'm glad went and tested it out. That's great that you have decided, though I thought I would post my pics anyway:) Sorry for the blurriness, not sure what my camera was doing (yes I blame technology!) You can see above the kitchen cupboards that it looks a lot 'creamier' that the other wall. Good luck Re: ANOTHER white paint question! 7Feb 03, 2011 10:05 pm kara, your kitchen is divine! My kitchen got installed today (yipee) but it is missing appliances and benchtops for the moment. the patches of whisper white are looking fab next to it. Our kitchens are almost identical, except mine has white bench tops and black cupboards below.. ok I guess they are different but I always get excited to see a b&w kitchen! Now to choose the splash back... Re: ANOTHER white paint question! 8Feb 04, 2011 7:56 am danny girl kara, your kitchen is divine!
