Wrapped up - check! Now we've been waiting for over a month, I hope today is the day that something starts to happen! I drive past trucks in the estate dropping off bricks and fly round to the block..... but they are usually for someone else! (so sad that I am excited about an unloaded brick truck!) We have been quite lucky with nothing happening for a while that nothing except a tipped over dunny has happenend. I check it each time I take the dog for a walk and just like going in for a wander around. Anyway, here are some more pics for you all. We have had our plumbing and electrical work done, our windows and bricks delivered and on Thursday they started bricking the garage and part of the front of the house! So exciting!! We also went last Monday and picked our kitchen cabinets and benchtops as well as our floor tiles and tiles to the rest of the house. I have been reading every day, I just hate using photobucket as it takes so long. Why can we upload photos like you can for Facebook? Soooo much quicker and easier. Anyway, the tiler started on Friday and said he would be finished tomorrow. He only has the grouting left as there isn't much that needs tiling. The main rooms in the house are going to be either carpet or vinyl planks so he doesn't have to do those areas. Cheviot have told us that it's around 4 weeks from when the tiler turns up, but since we only have a couple of days worth of tiles, it's more likely to be around 3. Fingers crossed! Since I haven't posted anything since Feb, there are a lot of photos. I have mainly picked the latest ones so you won't all get bored with the plaster ones! Glad you like our doors, we love them. Just have to buy some of that frosted contact to go on the door and the surrounding windows as you can see straight into our lounge. Building1, we went past you place the other week when we went for a walk. They have done your build so fast. You must be just about to move in! I hope your DS wasn't too upset about falling into the lake. Poor thing. Now for the pics..... Our handover is for the 21st June. We've had to push back the rental vacate as that was originally for the 17th which makes it a bit of a problem! All good though. Now just to rob a bank for the bits we need done and hope there are no more hold ups. We already had to upgrade our carpet due to the unavailability of the one we originally chose. It's much more plush so that's a good thing, I guess. I'm looking forward to seeing it cleaned up. Flooring due next week, site clean on the 8th and it will look much more liveable.
