I did no tell him then I had done similar installations overseas before I think i have to alter my pipe work as the old pipe it pointing straight in the air and might effect where the new kitchen goes, the good thing is that the pipe entry is very low to the ground and might need to find differant fittings to suit new oven, as weeks get closer to the kitchen boys arrive, ill seek some advice from family tradies that i know to help out....
