At the end of the day, it depends on what you cook. Re: Help me with a rangehood 6Jan 17, 2011 11:17 pm I and my wife we both love cooking. We love to be in kitchen. I am aslo a chef by profession. We both are tall and the problem we both faced all the time with a canopy and/or a slide out range hood was, our head would hit it all the time. Especially if you wanna check the texture of food on the gas range behind. We looked around and saw this range hood (pic attached below) it is just perfect for both of us. As per some of the salesmen, this range hoods are very efficient. Re: Help me with a rangehood 9Jan 25, 2011 10:44 am Does anyone have their rangehood vented externally to the atmosphere? how does it go out? Re: Help me with a rangehood 10Jan 27, 2011 8:58 am ourhome Does anyone have their rangehood vented externally to the atmosphere? how does it go out? Your choices now are to the atmosphere or recirculated. It can't be vented to the roof space anymore by law. Most rangehoods that are set up for atmosphere come with a couple of meters of ducting. From there you'll have to but a kit to go through the roof tiles or sheets. If you get recirculated it must be fitted with approved charcoal lined filters. They are normally washable in a dishwasher these days. Hi there, long-time lurker but first time posting. I've bought a house 2 and a bit years ago and last year we had some major water damage on a converted pergola area… 0 7962 Yes, unless you are in a low intensity rainfall area or the area is protected from rain. Do you have access to NCC Part 2 or can you download it? I can email you a copy… 10 12566 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7239 |
